Oreo Inception Cookies
INGREDIENTS
1 cup softened, unsalted butter
3/4 cup packed brown sugar
1 cup granulated sugar
2 large eggs
1 tbsp. vanilla extract
3 1/2 cups all-purpose flour (DO NOT SIFT)
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking soda
2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
24 Double-Stuf Oreo cookies
DIRECTIONS
1) Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
2) Grease two cookie sheets.
3) In a large bowl, cream butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar together with a mixer until well combined.
4) Beat in eggs and vanilla.
5) In a medium bowl, mix flour, salt, and baking soda.
6) Slowly add to wet ingredients until well-combined.
7) Fold in chocolate chips.
8) Using an ice cream scoop, take approximately 2 1/2 tablespoons of dough and form into a ball around an Oreo cookie.
9) Repeat until you run out of dough or Oreos (whichever comes first).
10) Should make approximately two dozen ginormous cookies.
11) Bake for 9-13 minutes or until golden brown.
12) Cool for five minutes on cookie sheet, then remove to wire rack and cool completely.
